Wedding Item Pack List
Here are some helpful packing tips:
Pack your wedding items in sturdy totes with lids (if possible) Make labels to put on the totes or boxes listing what is in the containers Double check everything that you are packing to make sure that you are not making any mistakes such as miscounting or forgetting item(s) Put photos in frames so that they can be set out quickly during setup (normally small amount of setup time) Do not bring original copies of photos to weddings (family photos) Do not bring family heirlooms to weddings that are not securely packed and looked after (cake stands, cake cutting sets, toasting flutes, etc) Put escort cards or place cards in the order they have to be setup in (alphabetical order, grouped by table) and fold the cards after having them printed and cut Make sure there are not any stickers or sticky film on photos, signage and toasting flutes before packing Preassemble favors, props, etc and put in totes, boxes or baskets for setup Preassemble stands and any other complex display that takes time and space to assemble or setup at a wedding Preassign wedding party and family to take away wedding items at the end of the wedding. The wedding items will be packed up and ready for them to take your remaining wedding items away at the end of the wedding. Making a list of names of people who will be responsible for various items will ensure that nothing is lost or misplaced. Example: Leftover Alcohol (Uncle Steve), Cards & Gifts (Mom), Clothes in Bridal Suite (MOH), Leftover cake/dessert (Aunt Mary), Guestbook, Signage, Toasting Flutes etc (Dad) |
