Photography & Videography
Photography
You will most likely have already hired your photographer, but if you haven't already or have questions about the timeline and how the day will go keep reading. Most couples hire a professional photographer to capture the details of their wedding day ranging from (8-10) hours with (1-2) Shooters on the wedding day. They will photograph your wedding details (invitation flat lay, rings, flowers, guest book etc), first look, wedding party, family, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Most photographers will provide a shot list for your wedding based on (1-2) meetings that you will have with them before the wedding day. You will also get to know them at your engagement session which will be like a preview of the wedding. You can also use these photos on your wedding day. A great photographer will have a good plan in place for your wedding day to cover everything and give you exactly what you are looking for.
Example Photo Shot List:
Details (Dress Hanging, Wedding Party Dresses, Shoes, Rings, Necklace, Earrings, Veil etc)
Wedding Party in Robes
Gift Exchange
Putting on Dresses
Hair and Makeup Finishing Up Final Touches
First Look
Wedding Party Photos
Family Photos (Parents, Grandparents, Siblings)
Ceremony Details
Ceremony
Post Ceremony Photos - Family Extended Family
Cocktail Hour Details (Guest Book etc)
Reception Details (Tables, Cake, etc)
Reception (Intros, First Dance, Parent Dances, Cake Cutting, Toasts, Dance Floor, Grand Exit etc(
You will need to provide the names of the families for the family photos.
These are the photographers that I highly recommend and regularly work with in and around Atlanta!

Videography
Hiring a videographer is a bonus for sure, a professional to capture the real live moments that you can watch again and again. There are different kinds of videographers that you can hire, some will do the highlights and others will do everything including drone footage and capture all of the ceremony and speeches with mics. No matter which kind of videographer you are looking for, I have put together a few that I do highly recommend to joining your vendor team. They typically work with your photographer capturing all the details and following the timeline working between (8-10) Hours, if you are hiring someone to do highlights they might only work (4-5) hours.
